Chez panisse twice in one year? I must be dreaming...
Last night was the company holiday dinner and it was yummy. They brought us some champagne and a nettle pizza. Then we had salads--persimmon and fennel, frisee+almond+smoked paprika, cardoon+egg+chicory. And some chardonnay and pinot noir. Then farro spaghetti with shell beans and ricota salata. And braised lamb shoulder with peppers and olives over polenta. Then they brought us big bowls full of tangerines, almonds, candied orange peel and dates. A delicious glass of tokay--a Hungarian dessert wine that I highly recommend. The finale was apple tart and huckleberry ice cream. I loved it!

i saw the bun last weekend.

early thanksgiving with the family. last weekend we gathered at my grandparents' house for some turkey, homemade cranberry sauce (courtesy of yours truly) and sushi. My uncle brought his sushi machine. And the rest is history.

I'm so glad I'm finally done with this denim group project. Too bad mm forgot that we were going to try to go camping tonight. Now i'm finally blogging. You can thank that bar-passing-whiskey-drinking-mofo.
