Chez panisse twice in one year? I must be dreaming...
Last night was the company holiday dinner and it was yummy. They brought us some champagne and a nettle pizza. Then we had salads--persimmon and fennel, frisee+almond+smoked paprika, cardoon+egg+chicory. And some chardonnay and pinot noir. Then farro spaghetti with shell beans and ricota salata. And braised lamb shoulder with peppers and olives over polenta. Then they brought us big bowls full of tangerines, almonds, candied orange peel and dates. A delicious glass of tokay--a Hungarian dessert wine that I highly recommend. The finale was apple tart and huckleberry ice cream. I loved it!
Where will I eat next?

i thought i liked fried chicken sandwiches until i watched the fry cook at that dingy ass 24 hr burger joint on Telegraph and let's say.....24th St. He threw it into the fry grease and i left. Even when i was drunk. Now that's gross. Oh, and i agree on the sushi and that we should hang out more often. Maybe we can collect signatures, take a vote and push that into legislation.
